What will you be doing
Reporting into the Administration Manager and working closely with the Chief Medical Imaging Technologist and Clinical Director in this handson role you will:
- Lead and participate in the smooth operation of the reception area and overall clinic workflow
- Manage billing banking and Medicare related activities
- Provide ongoing training development and mentoring to team members
- Convey business updates from management and oversee correct application of changes
- Plan and oversee workforce requirements in conjunction with practice management by ensuring appropriate rostering and leave planning
- Utilise leadership expertise to manage escalations and resolve complex queries
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve and achieve maximum efficiencies to deliver patient excellence
What are we looking for
To thrive in this role you will have:
- Previous leadership experience within a Radiology setting
- Knowledge of the patient workflow and supporting administration processes policies and Medicare billing
- The ability to lead by example with demonstrated experience in motivating and mentoring a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to multitask handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Sound problemsolving skills and the ability to effectively resolve difficult situations to achieve good outcomes
- A keen eye for details and passion for processdriven continuous improvement
