What will you be doing

Reporting into the Administration Manager and working closely with the Chief Medical Imaging Technologist and Clinical Director in this handson role you will:

  • Lead and participate in the smooth operation of the reception area and overall clinic workflow
  • Manage billing banking and Medicare related activities
  • Provide ongoing training development and mentoring to team members
  • Convey business updates from management and oversee correct application of changes
  • Plan and oversee workforce requirements in conjunction with practice management by ensuring appropriate rostering and leave planning
  • Utilise leadership expertise to manage escalations and resolve complex queries
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve and achieve maximum efficiencies to deliver patient excellence

What are we looking for

To thrive in this role you will have:

  • Previous leadership experience within a Radiology setting
  • Knowledge of the patient workflow and supporting administration processes policies and Medicare billing
  • The ability to lead by example with demonstrated experience in motivating and mentoring a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to multitask handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Sound problemsolving skills and the ability to effectively resolve difficult situations to achieve good outcomes
  • A keen eye for details and passion for processdriven continuous improvement
