Job Description

Job Title: Specialist Finance SAS Capital Resource Authority

Job Code: 22033

Job Location: Palm Bay FL

Job Schedule: 9/80 (every other Friday off)

Job Description:

As part of the greater Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment Financial Planning and Analysis/ Cost Analysis team the SAS Capital team is responsible for managing the capital asset lifecycle across the SAS segment. This includes Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) processing Procurement of Capital Assets and the Capitalization of Assets. The Resource Authority position interfaces regularly with key Program stakeholders in addition to individuals at all levels of the organization. You will have the opportunity to support program needs while protecting the L3Harris capital asset portfolio and ensuring compliance to the capital process.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze capital spend reconciliation and reporting
  • Serve as a goto resource for AFE support
  • Interface with Sectors Divisions and outsourced processors on all capital questions
  • Drive process improvements and seek timely resolution of potential issues
  • Support the development of training tools and templates
  • Responsible for understanding L3Harris policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the aerospace and government contracting industry with exhibited progression
  • Ability to multitask meet deadlines and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and issues in a timely manner with general supervision
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and Control a plus
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to regularly interface with sector and division leadership and establish strong business partnerships
  • Be a selfstarter with a continuous improvement mentality
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge including but not limited to pivot tables lookups & formulas
