Job Description
Job Title: Transactional Finance Manager (3-Month FTC)
Location: Bournemouth with hybrid option
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Full-Time or Part-Time considered (34 days/week)
Start Date: Immediate Start Required

About the Job
We are seeking a hands-on Transactional Finance Manager to join on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role requires a well-rounded finance professional with strong experience across transactional finance ability to support with AP AR cash flow forecasting payroll and tax and financial compliance matters and a working knowledge of QuickBooks as the general ledger system is essential.
The successful candidate must be immediately available and confident working independently. There is also scope to support project-based work during the contract term depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the transactional finance team on daily matters requiring attention
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and manage daily cash activities
- Support VAT returns and general tax-related compliance
- Ensure financial data in QuickBooks is accurate and up to date
- Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties where needed
- Provide month end support and cover as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA)
- Immediately available or able to start within 1 week
- Proven experience in transactional finance with exposure to AP AR cash flow and tax
- Proficient in using QuickBooks as a general ledger tool
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a flexible project-oriented environment
Contract Details:
- Duration: 3 months (potential to extend)
- Hours: Full-time or Part-time (34 days/week considered)
- Hybrid working options may be available
