Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Man Power Planning:
2. Recruitment and Selection
3. Performance and Productivity Management
4. Spearhead Health and Safety Programs
5. Payroll Administration
6. Employee Records Management
7. Handling Employee Relations
8. Compensation and benefits
9. Create reports on all role activities as may be required of the role and by the relevant statutory requirements.
1. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Human Resources in any specialist or generalist practice area.
2. Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution.
3. Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation in particular the Employment Code Act.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
6. Knowledge of legal HR compliance standards.
7. High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate and discuss sensitive or challenging topics.
8. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
9. Able to engage with executive stakeholders comfortably including board members and peers at other companies.
10. Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
11. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
12. Ability to act with integrity professionalism and confidentiality.
13. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
14. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
Qualifications
1. Diploma in Human Resources or related field
2. ZIHRM license is an added advantage
