Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Title: BI Operations Engineer (PowerBI)
Location: Portugal
Work Regime: Fulltime & Remote
Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a BI Operations Engineer (PowerBI) to join our company!
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Power BI and Tableau;
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support following ITIL principles;
- Manage user access roles and licensing across BI platforms;
- Monitor platform performance and apply preventive maintenance;
- Configure and customize BI platforms based on business requirements;
- Ensure compliance with data protection and security regulations;
- Respond to customer inquiries and deliver highquality technical support;
- Collaborate with internal IT data and infrastructure teams;
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual work;
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standard procedures;
- Identify opportunities for platform optimization and innovation;
- Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders suggesting strategic improvements;
- Stay up to date with BI trends platform updates and best practices.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of PowerBI;
- Experience in troubleshooting and problemsolving related to BI platforms with focus on Power BI Tableau;
- Familiarity with fundamental concepts of platform management and user administration;
- Experience in configuring and customizing platforms according to business requirements;
- Experience handling customer inquiries and issue resolution in complex environments following ITIL principles;
- Deep understanding of IT systems platform security and data protection regulations;
- Strong communication and customer service skills;
- Ability to identify platform performance issues diagnose and resolve complex technical problems;
- Experience collaborating with internal technical teams and support experts;
- Knowledge of automating operational processes to improve efficiency;
- Ability to identify synergies and potentials and provide advisory support;
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Complementary Requirements:
- Practical experience with Qlik (on prem and cloud);
- Experience with multinational teams;
- German skills.

Mandatory Requirements: 8+ years of professional experience relevant for the role; Vast experience with Vanilla Javascript; Experience with or ; Experience with Azure Cloud is a plus. Experience with New Relic is a Plus. Use state management like Redux or other.
