EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Fulltime 12month position
PRIMARY DUTY: The Associate Registrar will work with the Registrar and office staff in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Manage Banner student information system maintain and update numerous Banner student record and academic history validation tables; test document and implement upgrades as well as provide functional support for staff faculty and others
2. Coadminister the Universitys computerized degree audit system by translating academic requirements into computerbased degree audit system terminology updating requirements to reflect curricular changes maintaining support tables and training personnel on all procedures associated with the system and in proper interpretation of the degree audit
3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of academic requirements and regulations provide recommendations or assistance with the curricular process as needed and collaborate with the advisement office to train academic advisors to promote an understanding of the degree requirements and graduation processes
4. Resolve problems and enhance various processes projects procedures etc. by employing critical thinking skills and creativity
5. Collaborate with Deans Deans Secretaries Department Chairs Graduate Office Honors Program Teaching & Learning Center University Marketing & Communication and the Scheduling Specialist to prepare semester course offerings schedules for publication prior to preregistration including class roll from previous semester.
6. Coordinate grade sheet activation and notification to instructors regarding final grades
7. Coordinate 5 11 week and midterm grade collection
8. Oversee operational functions related to endofterm processing
9. Assure the efficient and effective delivery of preregistration and general registration activities by coordinating delivery of registration services developing and distributing information concerning dates policies and procedures
10. Assist Registrar with graduation checks
11. Serve as a member of Data and Application TeamAdministrative (DATA) Student Administrative Services (SAS) Educational Initiatives Requiring Special Processing (EIRSP) and Financial Review
12. Assist with input of enrollment and drop/add activities during peak times
13. Remain competent and current through selfdirected professional reading developing professional contacts with colleagues attending professional development activities and other training
14. Contribute to the overall success of the Office of the Registrar by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelors degree

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position will work in an office environment from the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch break. This position may require additional night and weekend hours.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires repetitive motions and sitting at a computer keyboard and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds
