Description / Position Overview

Skilled Maintenance Technician II Colorado Springs Airport

The Colorado Springs Airport is ready to welcome a Skilled Maintenance Technician IIto their dynamic team!As a Skilled Maintenance Technician IIyou will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems including electrical HVAC and mechanical ensuring efficient facility operation through regular inspections and preventive maintenance in support of the Colorado Springs Airport.

Hourly Salary:$28.54 $34.27 Hourly
Work Schedule:Fulltime rotating schedules to ensure coverage for a 24hour operation facility. This includes weekdays/weekends mornings day and evening shifts. Subject to oncall emergency callout and seasonal duties such as snow removal

PreEmployment Requirement: The selected candidate must pass (or have already passed) a fingerprintbased criminal history records check as required by the Transportation Security Administration.

As a Skilled Maintenance Technician II you wiil:

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
Knowledge of:
  • Skilled maintenance methods and techniques
  • Pertinent federal state and local laws codes and regulations
  • Occupational hazards and standard safety practices
  • Equipment materials chemicals and supplies used in a skilled maintenance program

Ability to:
  • Read and interpret plans and drawings
  • Safely use assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships
