Assistant Teacher

Were looking for people who care about people. As an Assistant Teacher at Elim youll be required to:
- Collaborate with teachers to implement supervise and assess educational programs.
- Provide instruction behavior management personal care and supervision/support to students.
- Collaborate with teacher and assist with activities of the prescribed programs including those written by related service personnel such at PT OT and Speech including implementation of students communication program.
- Provide classroom supervision and instruction in the absence of the teacher.
- Assist students with personal care needs to include toileting feeding showering and dressing.

Hours:
Monday Friday 8:00 am 3:30 pm
Includes a 6 week extended school year
Wages :
- Competitive pay range of $28.04 to $29.29/hr for hours worked. Pay can be spread out over entire year

Education Licenses & Certifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Education or related field
- Must hold or be able to obtain a substitute teaching license (cannot accept short term sub license)
