About the Opportunity
The parttime audiologist will work in the SpeechLanguage and Hearing Center (SLHC) at Northeastern University in Boston MA. The audiologists responsibilities will be to conduct adult audiological evaluations (i.e. pure tones and speech audiometry tympanometry acoustic reflexes OAEs) for the Veterans Evaluation Services Program to dispense amplification and musician hearing protection (i.e. consultation selection fitting and troubleshooting of devices) and to occasionally supervise graduate speechlanguage pathology students conducting hearing screenings in local schools. This position will be nonbenefits eligible. Audiologists within the SLHC will provide services following the policies & procedures of the SLHC ensure compliance with regulatory agencies maintain practice licensure and certification complete all documentation and participate in any programs or initiatives required by the Clinical Director or regulatory agencies (e.g. billing requirements performance improvement activities).
