At GD we are looking for a Business Development Manager forNorth Africa.
Responsibilities
- Strong and dynamic leadership of Payment Products Services and Solution Sales within North Africa sales region in coordination with the Sales Director of North Africa
- Focus on triggering new sales opportunities by finding appropriate solutions in our product mix and packaging them in an offer to meet the customers requirements.
- Establish and maintain firm business relationships to customers
- Achieve assigned individual sales targets as well as company objectives for the allocated sales area
- Establishment and management of Clevel contacts with business partners and key customers.
- Generate customer requirements and leads through sales visits and close customer contact actively visit the larger enduser accounts.
- Processing of customer enquiries and relevant tenders (also in the region).
- Negotiation and determination of contract conditions and prices for customers.
- Definition and preparation of a short/mid/long term sales plan especially with regard to the acquisition of new customers.
- Develop an account strategy for a 35 years view (i.e. Master plan and Key Account Plan)
- Set realistic qualitative and quantitative longterm targets and identify upside potential
- Accurate reporting of Order Income revenues and forecast of sales activities in Sales Force
- Combine G&Ds product and service portfolio seizing crossselling opportunities to offer an optimum solution for the key account complemented by an appropriate price strategy
- Recognize and communicate opportunities for global expansion and alliances
- Use sources inside the customers organisation as well as published information to understand customers TAM corporate targets and strategy strengths and Red Flags
- Gather comprehensive information about G&D competitors through customer contacts trade shows conferences and develop a thorough understanding of competitors USPs
Your skills and competencies:
- Degree in a business/technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years overall sales of which 5 years in a leadership role.
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership to peers and support/mentor where needed
- Experience in Banking Industry ideally in payment industry with understanding in Issuing Acquiring Ecommerce
- Ideal Plus; Technical and business experience with EMV technology digital payments and software solutions
- Corresponding highlevel customer contacts and understanding of the solution portfolio.
- Dynamic personality and strong negotiation skills.
- Experience in dealing with sales tools and processes such as Salesforce.
- High degree of flexibility.
- Experience in Pipeline Development and Gotomarket planning and
- Candidate must be willing to travel within the sales region
