Job Title: Director of Nursing Surgical Services
Location: Southern Arizona

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing for our Surgical Services department. As the Director of Nursing you will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations strategic planning and performance of our surgical services. You will collaborate with surgeons nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe highquality patient care in a compassionate and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the surgical services department including preoperative intraoperative and postoperative areas.
Develop and implement strategic plans policies and procedures to optimize patient outcomes operational efficiency and staff productivity.
Foster a culture of excellence continuous improvement and patientcentered care throughout the surgical services department.
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and other stakeholders to develop and implement best practices and protocols.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards quality measures and accreditation requirements.
Recruit hire train and evaluate nursing staff to maintain a competent and engaged team.
Monitor and manage the department budget including resource allocation and cost control.
Promote effective communication and collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care coordination.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with physicians staff and other key stakeholders.
Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and advancements in surgical services to drive innovation and enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Nursing (Masters degree preferred).
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience in surgical services or perioperative nursing.
Demonstrated expertise in surgical services management including budgeting staffing and quality improvement.
Strong knowledge of surgical practices procedures and standards of care.
Proven ability to lead and develop highperforming teams.
Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians staff and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to surgical services.
