Would you like the opportunity to work on industryleading real estate development projects in the logistics space As Associate Corporate Counsel Real Estate you will partner with Amazons Real Estate and Operations teams to buy lease entitle construct launch and manage Amazons logistics facilities. Our projects range from multimillion square foot fulfillment centers to smaller delivery stations in big cities and rural areas and everything in between each with their own nuances to consider. These are dynamic complex projects presenting novel legal and business issues requiring high judgment.
Key job responsibilities Daytoday business and real estate law counseling Land use advice Identifying opportunities for and implementing process improvements Resolving legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships Handling prelitigation legal disputes and inquiries
A day in the life Each day will be different in this role. Some days will be focused on managing a high volume of inflight transactions while others will be focused on complex strategic projects or new business initiatives. Were also always look for ways to improve our processes and scale our resources often involving the use of new technology such as AI.
3 years of legal experience Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent Experience working in real estate law in private practice or inhouse at a technology company or equivalent
Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and inhouse work Experience in development land use or economic development Comfortable making highjudgment decisions in ambiguous situations
