We are seeking a businessoriented InHouse Legal Counsel to lead corporate legal compliance and financial partnership functions. This role will be instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance managing risks and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee entity setup intercompany structuring (Transfer Pricing) and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Structure and oversee financial partnerships ensuring alignment with commercial and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to data security laws (GDPR SOC2 and global compliance frameworks (KYC/KYB business licensing etc..
- Provide legal support for fundraising (equity & debt) FinTech business models and regulatory approvals.
Requirements:
- 25 years of postqualification experience preferably in FinTech financial services or corporate law.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance financial regulations and intercompany structuring.
- Experience in data security laws compliance approvals and risk management.
- Prior exposure to fundraising M&A and regulatory audits is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in FinTech Payments or Financial Services industry.
- Inherent bias for action and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a commercial mindset.
