The Amazon Business team is seeking Software Development Engineers who want to disrupt the way businesses purchase online.
The AB Services team was established in Q222 as a key enabler of turnkey solutions that reduce their costs improve their operational efficiency and free up their bandwidth to focus on their core business. Services are most critical to enabling AB customer deals.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience from the visual interface to the back end services. You will be working with new technologies that improve usability and increase performance and scalability. You will help redefine normal for this segment of the market. You will help translate business requirements to technical deliverables and deliver operationally stable solution that provide good customer experience.
Candidates need to have ownership passion to provide great customer experience and excellent troubleshooting skills. Experience with building webbased applications and/or web servicesbased applications is desired.
Key job responsibilities
Usage of design patterns reuse and efficient coding best practices to deliver highquality work on tight schedules.
Partner with offshore development team(s) for successful software delivery.
Design and develop endtoend solutions that enhance software architecture and automate solutions.
Build reliable highperformance Web Services APIs MicroServices MicroFrontends and SDKs that improve customers experience
Learn from others and help grow those in your team to achieve their best
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
2 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market.
