Corporate Brand and Communications

The Corporate Brand and Communications function at Godrej Industries Group manages one of the most extensive PR and Corporate Brand communication mandates in India. Its operational scope includes PR digital PR influencer engagement managing the Masterbrand creative services managing key opinion leaders and building communities. They also dabble in researchdriven narratives owned experiential media platforms measurement analytics ORM crisis management and external brand alliancesall aimed at effectively sharing the Godrej story with over 1.1 billion customers globally.

The team has consistently been the most awarded in the country for excellence in corporate communications and branding. Godrej Industries has won prestigious accolades including the Diamond SABRE Award for Reputation Management and Company of the Year. Ranked #1 in a row for six years in Reputation Todays Top 30 Communications Teams in India the team is also listed in Exchange4medias Top 25 Brands with Best InHouse Communications Professionals 2024. About the role

As the Manager Brand Strategy and Corporate Branding you will be a key player in shaping and executing Godrej Industries Groups corporate brand strategy. Your role will focus on driving a compelling brand presence across various mediums contributing to broader strategic initiatives and creating content that aligns with the brands core purpose and values. You will work on crafting impactful campaigns and initiatives that foster meaningful engagement with both internal and external stakeholders helping elevate the Godrej brand to new heights.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Brand strategy and campaign development
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and execute highimpact campaigns that amplify the Masterbrands purpose vision and values
    • Contribute to the creation of strategic initiatives that strengthen brand equity build stakeholder trust and elevate Godrejs reputation
    • Partner with creative agencies and internal teams to craft integrated brand campaigns across all communication channels ensuring maximum impact and engagement
  2. Crossfunctional collaboration
    • Work alongside business units to align their branding initiatives with the overarching Masterbrand narrative ensuring consistency in messaging and tone
    • Partner with traditional and digital PR teams to coordinate integrated campaigns reputation management strategies and media outreach efforts
  3. Content creation and messaging
    • Lead the development of corporate campaigns and Masterbrand initiatives ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy
    • Maintain consistency in messaging tone and style across all communication touchpoints reinforcing the Godrej brands values and vision
  4. Analytics and performance optimisation
    • Monitor analyse and report on the performance of brand strategy initiatives tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of campaigns
    • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement optimising brand strategies based on performance data
  5. Innovation and trends
    • Stay ahead of emerging trends insights platforms and tools to enhance the Masterbrands visibility and engagement across different channels
    • Experiment with new formats and strategies to continually evolve the brands communication approach ensuring it resonates with modern audiences


Who are we looking for

Experience:

  • 68 years of experience in brand strategy corporate branding initiatives events management either with the agency sector or corporate
  • Proven ability to lead multichannel campaigns that drive brand equity and engagement
  • Experience working on brand refresh projects would be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy campaign planning marketing and content creation


Skills:

  • Excellent collaboration skills to work across diverse teams and external agencies
  • Deep understanding and connections in the agency sector
  • Strategic mindset with creativity and attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Strong analytical skills to measure campaign effectiveness and optimise performance
