Tour Sales Advisor US Market
Overview
We are seeking two passionate and driven Tour Advisors to join our team with a focus on the US market customer base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting our extensive range of tour packages and experiences. This role offers fully remote working BUT you must be based close to head office in York to attend training days and occasional team meetings
Benefits
- 31K basic with an OTE of 60K!!!
- Permanent
- Shifts are on a weekly basis Monday to Friday and each week will be set on the below shift pattern:
2.00pm 10:30pm
3.00pm 11:30pm
4:30pm 1.00am
Every other Saturday 3.00pm 9.00pm and you will get a day off in the week for this

Responsibilities
- Deliver sales into the business by maximising the conversion rate of every telephone enquiry while providing a worldclass level of customer service at all times.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and personalised telephone based service
- Engage with customers through various channels including phone email and chat
- Identify and understand customer needs to recommend suitable tour packages and experiences based on their unique needs preferences and interests
- Actively promote and sell tour packages ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction actively promoting opportunities to upsell customers onto premium products and services
- Coordinate with tour operators and vendors to ensure smooth and seamless experiences for customers
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and developments in order to provide accurate and relevant information to customers
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to overall team success
- Process bookings and reservations accurately and efficiently
- Stay informed about current promotions new destinations and other product updates
- Track and report on sales metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or customer service with a focus on turning inbound enquiry calls in to sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of the travel and tourism industry would be beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems
