HSS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant frontend operations for our client in the Covington Area.


The Front of House Manager will be responsible for managing staff ensuring exceptional guest experiences maintaining cleanliness and efficiency and optimizing frontend operations. This role focuses on customer satisfaction team development and financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all frontofhouse activities ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Hire train and develop frontofhouse staff to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area and bar.
  • Handle customer inquiries complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Monitor and enhance the overall guest experience ensuring prompt service and satisfaction.
  • Oversee reservations and seating arrangements for efficient table turnover.
  • Manage cash handling POS systems and frontofhouse financial transactions.
  • Implement and communicate company promotions policies and operational updates.
  • Track and analyze frontofhouse expenses to optimize cost control and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to ensure seamless service between front and backofhouse operations.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the local community to enhance the restaurants reputation.
Qualifications:
  • Proven restaurant management experience in a highvolume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management P&L and cost controls.
  • Serve Safe Certification and ability to obtain a Liquor License.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced highstress environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work 50 hours per week.
  • Ability to train coach develop and motivate staff effectively.
  • Guestfocused approach to floor management and building guest rapport.
