The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an opening for a tenureline faculty position as an Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon with a focus on surgery of the adult hand including a special interest in elbow surgery. The rank will be determined based on the chosen candidates qualifications. The new hire will be part of a dynamic and successful hand team within an outstanding academic orthopaedic department. Minimum requirements include completion of a residency in orthopaedic surgery and oneyear advanced fellowship training in hand surgery or equivalent plus board certification or board eligibility. Applicants should have a sincere desire to develop and mentor others to develop focused clinical research and educational programs in Hand Surgery which will include publishing in peerreviewed journals and presenting at national meetings. A specific research and publication track record is helpful. Both new and already established hand surgeons are encouraged to apply.
