The labs main research question is to understand how brain tumor (glioma) cells coopt normal neurodevelopmental molecular programs to maintain their malignant cancer stem celllike phenotype focusing on the role of epigenetics and transcriptional regulation. We employ cutting edge computational multiomics tools combined with cell culture and animal studies using patientderived glioma models.
