Job Description
This position is working on Ixias Vision Network Packet Brokers. See thislinkfor details:
- Helping to define and develop cuttingedge network visibility solutions
- Learning about new developments in networking and security and applying that knowledge to feature development for Network Packet Brokers
- Full stack development Developing high quality software independently and in teams
- Evaluate and integrate third party software.
- Develop JUnit tests and perform feature/integration testing.
- Leading and participating in design and code reviews
Ideal candidate will typically have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 24 years relevant industry experience.
Requirements:
- Strong Java programming and object oriented design skills required
- Expertise knowledge and interest in Ethernet and networking technologies
- Interest in Web application technologies such as REST javascript HTML5 JSON etc
- Understanding of embedded systems development is a plus
- Strong software debug skills
- Tools: Eclipse/Webstorm Code Collaborator Jira GIT/Bitbucket debuggers profilers Wireshark
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
