Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer or Electrical Designer with at least three years of experience to support the growth and expansion of our clients business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for commercial office retail healthcare and other project types.
- Apply expertise in power distribution grounding lighting control systems and equipment specifications and selection.
- Prepare schematics for various electrical systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and complete designs; review work of colleagues.
- Conduct on-site investigations to verify existing conditions.
- Develop and maintain familiarity with current electrical codes and standards.
- Build professional relationships with peers in other disciplines (architectural structural civil etc.) and manufacturing sales representatives.
- Prepare and understand general and electrical specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with system-specific materials components and systems.
- Basic knowledge of advanced mathematics relevant to electrical engineering tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to solve complex design and engineering problems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of REVIT is desirable but not mandatory.
