Job Description
Job Overview:
The InSchool Suspension Supervisor and Student Support Specialist will oversee students assigned to inschool suspension (ISS) and provide additional support for behavior management and other student issues. The role ensures a safe structured environment conducive to completing academic work while addressing behaviorrelated challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor students assigned to ISS ensuring adherence to school rules.
Communicate with teachers to collect and distribute assignments to ISS students.
Provide guidance on behavior improvement strategies and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with counselors administrators and teachers to address behavior concerns.
Maintain a record of student attendance and progress during ISS.
Support other school functions such as classroom management hall monitoring or assisting in crisis intervention when needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in education or student support roles preferred.
Strong communication and conflictresolution skills required.
Ability to maintain a structured respectful environment required.
Part Time: 29 Hours a Week
