Job Description
****Average hourly rate is $17.85 (including wage incentives bonuses overtime shift differential etc.****
****This position requires working at least one day per weekend and some evening hours****
Position Overview: Provide transportation and supervise visitations for children in the Permanency Services Program supporting reunification efforts and promoting child wellbeing. Collaborate with families staff and external agencies to meet program goals and ensure compliance with case plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport children and supervise family visitations.
- Document activities and prepare case files for audits.
- Educate families on parenting child development and essential skills.
- Provide traumainformed emotional support and crisis intervention.
- Coordinate with public and private agencies to deliver services.
- Maintain strong relationships with families and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and 2 years of experience in child and family services.
- Strong communication analytical and organizational skills.
- Valid drivers license required.
Work Environment:
- Moderate physical activity (e.g. lifting up to 25 lbs).
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work with occasional exposure to weather.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure effective transportation and visitation support.
- Support family reunification efforts and maintain documentation accuracy.
