ARSIEM is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade MD.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks analyzing technical issues and developing and implementing corrective actions.
- Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.
- Translate user requests into technical diagnoses then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.
- Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Tier 1 certification.
- Must have experience in network or system administration. Strong Linux experience. Experience in systems/network administration application administration and/or information technology support or management. Experience supporting hardware installation such as servers and network infrastructure.
- Experience setting up storage such as networkattached storage.
- Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation deployment and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash Bourne or C.
Preferred Qualifications
- Desirable Skills: Experience deploying and maintaining nginx. Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite. Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana. Experience with SELinix and FIPS
$123771 $138509 a year
The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other laws.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The bonus for this position is $10000 and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
