Job Description
The 5th Grade Elementary Math & Science Teacher plans organizes and implements the instructional program in a Catholic environment where every child is recognized as a unique child of God.
Essential Functions
- Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
- Develop and deliver engaging Math and Science lessons that align with curriculum standards set by the Archdiocese of Baltimore in an instructional environment conducive to learning.
- Assess student understanding through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students including those with varying abilities and learning styles.
- Maintain an accurate and updated gradebook ensuring both students and parents have an understanding of academic progress in a timely manner.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required
- MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification required
- Classroom teaching experience preferred
- Proficient in using a variety of technology.

Range: $50000 $86000 Annualized
