Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and evaluations for patients undergoing anaesthesia.
• Administer anaesthesia for surgical and non-surgical procedures while monitoring patients vital signs.
• Adjust anaesthesia levels based on patient response and medical conditions during procedures.
• Provide consultation and create anaesthesia care plans in collaboration with surgeons and other medical professionals.
• Ensure patient safety by continuously monitoring and evaluating patient responses to anaesthesia.
• Manage perioperative pain through effective anaesthesia techniques and protocols.
• Respond promptly to any anaesthetic emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
• Document all anaesthesia procedures and maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Educate patients and families about anaesthesia procedures potential risks and postoperative care.
• Stay contemporary with advancements in anaesthesia and pain management practices through continuing education.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with the healthcare team to improve anaesthesia protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in anaesthesia services.
• Provide mentorship to junior anaesthesia staff and medical trainees.
• Contribute to research projects and clinical trials related to anaesthesia and pain management.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD) in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.
• Diploma in Anaesthesiology (DA) and/or DNB in Anaesthesiology is highly desirable.
• Valid medical license to practice in India.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an anaesthesiologist in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of pharmacology and anaesthesia techniques.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
• Experience with advanced anaesthesia machines and monitoring equipment.
• Ability to work cohesively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as required.
