Role Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients during night shifts.
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients health status.
- Diagnose illnesses injuries and developmental issues in children.
- Formulate treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate patients progress to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide emergency care to children if required.
- Consult with specialists and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
- Educate patients and their families on health issues and preventive care.
- Stay up-to-date on pediatric medical advancements and best practices.
- Participate in on-call duties to address urgent medical cases.
- Contribute to the development of pediatric health programs.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and safety protocols.
- Engage with community outreach programs to promote child health awareness.
Qualifications
- MD in Pediatrics or equivalent degree.
- DNB/DCH from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pediatric setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and pediatric health issues.
- Exceptional diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Ability to perform pediatric emergency procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to providing empathetic patient care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
- Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Active participation in continuous medical education (CME) activities.
