The Amazon Fire TV team at Chennai designs and engineers the best in class infrastructure and tools at enterprise quality to reduce the Time To Market of our Fire TV devices.
You can be part of a fastpaced agile and innovative team who is bringing the best experience to both internal and external partners through our solutions that would help OEMs to build their Fire TVs faster better and cheaper in a startup like environment.
We are looking for passionate hardworking and talented Software Development Manager who has experience building innovative mission critical high volume applications that customers love. This is a high visibility team where you will get a chance to make a positive impact on the customer experience by leading a team of engineers.

7 years of engineering experience
3 years of engineering team management experience
8 years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
