The Finance Operations Manager will lead a team of 3 and be responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the Finance Operations Team whilst proactively driving change and automation within the function.
We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant who will take the lead in driving system automation and process improvement within this busy finance team. The successful incumbent will play a pivotal role in creating a roadmap towards developing the capabilities of the function whilst ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting an established team with their day to day which includes month end reconciliations posting bank transfers settlements drawdowns direct debits etc.
- Mentoring and guiding the Finance Operations team fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Acting as a keep point of contact for both finance and nonfinance stakeholders
- Proactively assessing current processes procedures and systems and driving change to ensure the function is running as efficiently as possible.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience of working within a Financial Accounting function in an SME business.
- Able to demonstrate a proven experience in process improvement and automation.
- Supervisory experience would be preferable but is not essential.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
- Able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills.
