We are looking for a person who will differentiate our company from its competitors. You will be joining Worldline a company in full transition to a new era
of payments covering hardware software and services as tooling for merchants to grow their business.
Part of SREs automation and industrialization of the databases platform will fall under your responsibilities including any of them as MSSQL Oracle Postgres MySQL Galera and others.
After an internal training period about our products and services you will be a SQL Server DBA with the following responsibilities.
Who Are We Looking For
Minimum skills
A bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Infrastructure automation using puppet foreman terraform
Experience on programming in at least in Powershell and/or Go
Ability to design the service level indicators of the database platforms to allow the SRE to be proactive when problems arise
Understanding Database performance and capacity planning indicator to trigger automatic scale or failover
Preferred skills
Experience in Database Performance Tuning and Database Security
Good knowledge of database clustering design on Windows and/or Linux
Ability to debug optimize code automate routine tasks and developing and implement cloud concept interface and provisioning using
Infrastructure as Code (e.g.. Terraform)
Working experience in DevOps
Knowledge in continuous learning technical environment (CI CD Big Data AI...

You carry out standard operational and maintenance tasks and perform failovers/disaster recovery with the team
You monitor security and system events and take appropriate action in case of incidents including taking part in the offhours monitoring rotation of the environment
You identify and troubleshoot performance issues and optimize where possible
You develop automation of operational tasks where possible
You contribute to projects related to both our local and global environments with a focus on increasing performance availability and scalability of our infrastructure
You write documentation of internal DB processes designs and proposals.

Comfortable with Scripting (Powershell / Puppet / CICD) Automation
Used to work with Puppet (we do everything with puppet)
Used to work with Terraform (we aim that all pieces of infra is defined with code)
Experience with hybrid infra (On prem cloud)
Incident management troubleshouting and resolution
Understanding of network protocol (IP DHCP DNS BGP Load balancing clustering)
Good english
