Job Summary
The role of the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is to coordinate the logistics of all inbound and outbound shipments. This position will prepare parts for shipment and maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory. To be successful this position must work well crossfunctionally among multiple departments with strong communication and organizational skills.

Essential Functions
  • Process customer shipments in ERP System for multiple business units to generate packing slips
  • Verify actual contents to required contents of shipment
  • Package parts for shipment build crates as necessary
  • Prepare documents for shipment
  • Request quotes for LTL freight or courier shipping services
  • Schedule and process daily shipping via common carrier per customer requirements to generate shipping labels; complete necessary paperwork such as bill of lading
  • Perform final visual inspection of products during packing and communicate any quality concerns to production
  • Manage inventory all shipping supplies
  • Operate hand truck to load unload and stage product
  • Process purchase order receipts in ERP system
  • Deliver goods to appropriate department or location
  • Tag and label incoming goods of raw material and hardware
  • Report damaged stock and discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Other duties as assigned

Technical Competencies
  • Proficient knowledge of ERP and Accounting systems
  • Proficient knowledge logistics management
  • Proficient knowledge of commonly used hand and power tools
  • Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office Streamics and Magics

  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills to tactfully collaborate with team members
  • Organize prioritize and manage multiple projects in a crossfunctional environment
  • Demonstrate initiative and personal accountability to meet work demands; work effectively under pressure with limited supervision
  • Anticipate possible problems and generate solutions with proficient problemsolving skills
  • Exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations when time is critical
  • Ability to respond and adapt quickly to changing circumstances and facility needs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to effectively maintain facility needs

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 years experience in logistics management or related field required

Physical Requirements & Professional Experience:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to package products operate computer and handle documents
  • Ability to bend stoop kneel and crouch throughout workday
  • Ability to carry or lift up to 50 lbs occasionally throughout workday
  • Ability to focus vision with or without visual aids for: close vision color vision depth perception and adjusting to sharp focus

Work Hours/Travel:
  • 1st shift Monday Friday overtime as necessary
  • Remote work not available
  • No travel required
