Job Description

MalaceHR is seeking a highly organized and proactive Facility Coordinator to support daytoday operations of a client facility. This role involves overseeing building maintenance coordinating repairs ensuring safety compliance and managing documentation and budgeting. The Facility Coordinator will supervise two technicians and act as a key liaison between the client vendors and internal staff to ensure the facility remains functional secure and wellmaintained.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client ensuring clear communication and professional service.

  • Coordinate and oversee repairs preventive maintenance inspections and general facility upkeep.

  • Respond promptly and positively to requests from the client and building occupants.

  • Monitor and maintain safety security and operational standards across the facility.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems including electrical mechanical and HVAC.

  • Ensure all documentation reports and compliance records are accurate and submitted on time.

  • Assist with budget planning vendor contracts and purchasing of supplies and equipment.

  • Supervise two technicians ensuring tasks are delegated completed and aligned with quality standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Understanding of budgeting cost control and contract management.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications particularly Word and Excel.

  • Analytical skills to interpret trends and forecast operational needs.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate s or Bachelors degree preferred.

  • 57 years of related facility management or coordination experience.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.
