Roles and responsibilities:
- Installation configuration deploymentadministration and support of IBM API Connect in Cloud (Azure) and On Prem VMs.
- Monitor the health of the IBM API Connect environment to ensure performance and availability of APIs.
- Participate and lead as necessary in incident resolution calls when needed to assist root cause analysis of issues.
- Analyze logs to identify problems in the IBM API Connect environment.
- Configure and implement backup and restoration of IBM API Connect subsystems and configuration data.
- Maintain CI/CD pipeline for building and deploying APIs in IBM API Connect
- Use the API Management Portal to manage the lifecycle of APIs across multiple API catalogs.
- Consumer maintenance includes creating users groups and roles and security configurations.
- Make IBM API Connect Developer Portal changes using theadministrativemenus to affect the portal configuration and Drupal themes as well as perform some look and feel content changes.
- Enabling thirdparty tools like Elastic to capture the analytics events for customer dashboards.
- Splunk data platform expertise with advanced search queries construction monitoring and alerting setup for failures
- Configure the security of the IBM API Connect product using TLS profiles and native oAtuh2 mechanisms to ensure a secure operating environment.
- Good at applying product maintenance patches interim releases and upgrades as required in IBM API Connect in Cloud and On Prem VMs.
- Deliver technical architecturerelated information support technical discovery sessions assist architect/ team lead as required and respond to architecture infrastructure and security questions as required.
- Must be good in hardware specifications networking requirements and storage sizing analysis on IBM API Connect.
