Job Description
Total Experience Expected: 0406 years
Work Location: Chennai
Mode of work: Hybrid 3 days to office every week)
Shift Timing: UK & UK Holidays
Must Have: Cobol JCL and VSAM
Good To Have: IMS DB2 Object star Rexx
- Responsible for coding unit testing application development/support bug fixing and deliver assigned tasks as per predefined timelines and quality standards.
- Work on the resolution of assigned incidents and recovery of application ASAP.
- Analyzes incidents to identify service restoration actions to be taken
- Incident investigation and diagnosis of all priority type.
- Assists with classification and prioritization of incidents.
- Detection of possible Problems and the creating problem records.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Investigates assigned problems through to resolution or error identification
- Work on change requests from business.
- Handle adhoc requests for Service status or onetime information retrieval/reports
- Gather service data as needed for reporting and communications
- Analyzing the process and suggesting improvements
- Keeping affected business partners informed about progress
- Participate in implementation activities and provide post implementation support.
- Contribute towards updating knowledge assets
- Document all the learnings from the project
- Adhere to the Agile Ways of Working
- Should be willing to work in Development/support in UK/India shift.
