We are seeking a passionate guestfocused Night Manager to join our Front Office Leadership team.
In this role you will support the Operations Manager by managing our team overnight and being responsible for the hotel in the absence of the management team.
This is a FullTime Permanent position 40 Hours per week) working on a rotating 7day roster with a wage of $31.50 per hour PLUS a night allowance from 12am to 5am!
Your responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Supervising late guest arrivals and early departures ensuring that room allocations and checkin/checkout processes are customerfocused and follow set procedures.
- Running reports and compiling statistical information as required by finance policies and procedures.
- Compiling Night Audit day pack reports and documents in accordance with PCI Compliance distributing them to specific departments in a timely manner.
- Completing computer system backups and saving them in accordance with finance policies and procedures.
- Processing guest account transactions.
- Responding quickly to all guest concerns and following up with relevant departments.
- Leading the Night team.
- Managing the security and safety of both hotel guests and employees.
- Good knowledge of Resaweb ACDC Opera Cloud softwares preferred
- Ability to work over a rotating roster including days evenings overnight weekends and public holidays.
- Ensure Accor Hotels guest loyalty and recognition program is maintained and delivered to its highest standards
Qualifications :
- A current GM Certificate or the ability to obtain one (candidates must have an LCQ certificate and 3 months of supervisory experience at a licensed premises in NZ).
- 1 Years previous front office experience at a management level.
- Pervious experience with night auditing Opera Cloud Accounting ResaWeb ACDC is advantageous
- Represent the Hotel in absense of senior management holding responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the Hotels operation.
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems such as: Microsoft word Excel Outlook and Adobe.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing invoices floats and guest folios.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and general health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work over a rotating roster including days evenings overnight weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Manage front office operations and help in other departments when necessary
