Job Description

As a Sr. Manager of Ad Business & Product Analytics you will be responsible for defining and building a leading business analytics function at Best Buy. With a focus on measuring and quantifying product related business decisions you will work closely with Product teams developers and business partners representing our advertising perspective. As a leader on the advertising team you will be an integral part of defining the future state of internal business reporting facilitating transparency reports that enable actionable decisions.

This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days onsite at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other nonBest Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What youll do

  • Build out an industry leading product analytics function for Best Buys Retail Media Network defining objectives and building out automated data flows and reporting.
  • Produce and maintain actionable reporting and insights for business stakeholders to increase utilization across onsite and offsite BBYs advertising products.
  • Build informative key metrics segmentation and financial trends analysis supporting future decisions to optimize pricing and packaging of ad products.
  • Routinely engage with and evaluate new technologies and solutions which may be employed to further the teams goals.
  • Mange 3rd party vendor relationships and act as a point of contact between internal and external development teams.

Basic qualifications

  • 6 years progressive analytics experience.
  • 3 years of product / project management experience with a focus on operations.
  • 2 years data modeling and visualization expertise in Tableau or other similar analytical suites.
  • Proactive solutionoriented critical thinker with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to connect work to enterprise value and deliver measurable results.
  • Demonstrated experience working with programs from strategy through development and .
  • Familiarity with enterprise cloud data systems (Google Cloud Platform Amazon Web Services etc)
  • Experience working with / leveraging Sales Force as a tool in an advertising environment.

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Retail Media Network / Digital Publishing / Agency background
