General Responsibilities
This entrylevel position is responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold food items in compliance with Norfolk Public Schools USDA local state and federal policies procedures rules regulations and guidelines in a school setting or in the central kitchen. Work is performed under general supervision ofthe School Nutrition Manager.
Education and Experience
Food service and/or customer service experience is preferred but not required. A current Food Handlers card issued by the Norfolk Health Department is required prior to starting work and must be maintained throughout employment. Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
