Position Summary
The Director of Disbursements is responsible for providing leadership in University Financial Services by managing multiple functions and operational processes along with providing strategic support and analysis. In this key role this individual will direct and manage all transactional and operational activities which include Accounts Payable Payroll Finance and Travel and Expense management. The Director of Disbursements oversees three direct and five indirect reports. The successful candidate will be a driver of transformation and manages the change initiatives to ensure successful implementation. The effective individual will provide oversite to managers on day to day operations to support the business strategies ensuring continuous improvement and exceptional customer service. The Director of Disbursements will be responsible for evaluating developing and implementing financial policies and procedures. This Position reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor University Financial Services.

The Director leads a high performing department with universitywide functions that include payroll accounts payable finance and travel and expense management. The Director must have the ability to build trust both internal and external to the division in order to positively promote and encourage the vision of change management with a focus on exceptional quality and care on customer service and effective output.

Work Schedule
Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. In accordance with the Universitys flexible work policy this position is eligible to be considered for partial remote work. Further details regarding this plan will be determined with the hiring manager and are dependent on the division and team specific needs.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is 15.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $130000 $140000.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
