The Opportunity
As the front line representatives for Monash University we at Monash Connect pride ourselves on bringing excellence to our Customer Service channels at all times. Servicing all current and future students as well as staff and members of the public we prioritise delivering outstanding results to each enquiry every time.
We are seeking a professional Training Coordinator to be responsible for supporting the development delivery and evaluation of training content for the onboarding of new staff and the ongoing development of existing staff. This includes providing development and planning support for new training programs preparing content for online and facetoface delivery and other administrative tasks as required. This position will participate in new staff recruitment activities from staff selection to facilitating induction training using industry standard training techniques.
Reporting to the Training and Performance Improvement Specialist the Coordinator also supports and facilitates the evaluation of course content and training programs and implements improvements as required. They will plan activities for upskilling and crossskill training opportunities for new and existing staff in order to promote a multiskilled team with transferable skills.
To be a successful member of our team you will have:
Ability to contribute to the design development delivery and evaluation of training courses for adult learners using both traditional and multimedia format
Demonstrated ability to work as an efficient professional and friendly member of a team as well as the ability to exercise high levels of independence judgement and initiative
Proven ability to work successfully as part of a training team whilst able to make decisions in conjunction with your supervisor and Monash Universitys business objectives
Working with the Training and Performance Improvement Specialist actively foster and model a collaborative approach to working within Monash Connect and in partnerships across the university including the Training and Developmental partners such as Team Development
