OurOpportunity
A unique opportunity is now available in ourLongwall division for a Workshop Electrician. This position will involve duties including but not limited to:
- Assemble and disassemble all capital and used underground mining materials.
- Maintenance of onsite fixed and mobile plant.
- Interpret Electrical Schematics and scopes of work
- Control and power wiring of electrical equipment
- Fault finding and function testing of electrical equipment
- AS3800 level overhaul of intrinsically safe control equipment
- Providing high quality workmanship on time and on budget
- Maintain calibration of test equipment
- Ensure all equipment machinery and tooling is kept in good working order
- Document control and progress reporting
- Liaise with Project Coordinators to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Hold a current Trades Certificate or other equivalent qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Hold a current forklift licence
- Have a working knowledge of computerised drawings
- First aid certificate
