Job Description
Job Title: Tax Specialist
Location: Midrand Gauteng
Industry: Auditing and Accounting
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Hire Resolves client is seeking a qualified and experienced Tax Specialist to join a growing team in Midrand. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tax accounting coupled with handson experience in the auditing and accounting sector. You will be responsible for delivering accurate tax services ensuring compliance and providing strategic tax guidance to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals companies and trusts
- Ensure compliance with SARS regulations and deadlines
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients
- Liaise with clients and SARS regarding tax queries and audits
- Identify potential tax risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Keep up to date with South African tax legislation and policies
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Collaborate with the broader accounting and finance teams
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: BCom Degree in Accounting Taxation or a related field
- Experience: 35 years of experience in tax accounting
