About The Role:
Were looking for someone who leads with both head and heart. You make safety simple practical and even engaging. Less about compliance jargonmore about human connection and creating systems that work in the real world. This parttime role sits in our People & Experience team reporting to our Workplace Experience Manager.
Based in our vibrant Melbourne office but supporting colleagues across our workplaces in Melbourne and Hobart (with hybrid flexibility) youll champion all things safety and wellbeingstrategic and handson with plenty of space to leave your mark. Weve nailed the basicsthink ergonomic home setups hazard checklists and userfriendly tools with automated reporting. Now we want to level up. Were ready to deepen our focus on real wellbeinggoing beyond yoga and apples to tackle psychosocial risks build resilience and unlock the full potential of our people.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the continuous improvement of our Health Safety and Environment systems and safe work practices.
Partner with site leaders to implement proactive practical WHS initiatives that support our Zero Harm culture.
Build strong trusting relationships both across the business and with external stakeholders to deliver safety and wellbeing outcomes.
Proactively collaborate with the Hydro Tasmania Safety team to support Return to Work plans and liaising with all external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislationwithout losing the human touch.
Design and drive our organisationwide Wellbeing Strategy aligned to both business needs and emerging psychosocial risks.
About You
You hold a relevant Degree or Diploma in WHS/OH&S or a related discipline.
You hold a Return to Work Certificate and have experience in injury management
Youve successfully implemented safety systems and wellbeing programs in dynamic workplaces. Psychosocial safety experience is a bonus!
Youre collaborative credible and peoplefirst in your approach.
You make safety feel accessible and meaningfulwhether youre running a risk assessment or facilitating a wellbeing initiative.
You want to do safety with people not to them.
