Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This position will work closely with various stakeholders including Accounting Finance and Financial system teams to solve complex problems that directly impact Amazons financial reporting. The successful candidate will lead companywide finance transformation projects that change how Amazon consumes stores and analyzes financial data.
This is an excellent opportunity to shape a growing business in an entrepreneurial environment. This person will dive deep to understand the intricacies of data and its sources combine multiple sources of data to build a complete picture of business performance partner with business teams to address reporting needs and concisely communicate performance drivers to business partners and finance leadership.
Key job responsibilities
Support largescale change management initiatives and projects designed to improve reporting transparency and accuracy.
Partner with Business Finance teams to allocate operating expenses to appropriate businesses monthly and for planning cycles.
Generate financial results and business insights.
Ad hoc financial analysis and data support for business team.
3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
3 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA or CPA
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
