Position Summary: The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supportingthe design implementation and evaluation of special education programs across the directly with the Special Education Supervisor of Programs this role ensures that allservices align with state and federal mandates district priorities and the diverse needs ofstudents with disabilities. The Program Coordinator promotes inclusive practices assists inLeast Restrictive Environment (LRE) decisions supports program development for centralizedservices and provides professional development for educators to enhance instructionaleffectiveness. This position plays a vital role in fostering collaboration improving studentoutcomes and ensuring access to highquality educational opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors Degree
Masters Degree (preferred)
Experience:
Three 3 years successful experience in special education program coordination orrelated fields
Proven experience in data analysis and program evaluation
Specialized Knowledge Licenses Etc.:
Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oklahoma teaching certificate in specialeducation
o Administrator certificate preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
