Could you be the full-time Project RS on-board design Engineer in our Project Engineering Team were looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your electronic or electrical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside innovative solution-focused and collaborative teammates.
Youll lead the design process for on-board systems such as network systems passenger information systems and communication systems ensuring customer approval and alignment with project schedules. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Project Core Team Rolling Stock engineering team Products/Systems development teams) supervise system deliveries and much more.
Youll specifically take care of developing system architecture defining and allocating requirements and keeping close coordination with verification and validation activities but also contribute to the functional validation phase of the system.
Well look to you for:
Delivering systems that meet quality cost and delivery (QCD) commitments
Ensuring technical consistency and interface management with external systems
Leading Design Reviews and participating in system performance evaluations
Adhering to quality processes within the domain/mtier activities
Providing transparency in Project Engineering WP QCD performance
Engaging in Risk and Savings Reviews for your scope
Managing supplier relationships and integration when solutions are purchased

Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
Experience in on-board electronic system design
Knowledge of network & telecom solutions and cybersecurity standards (desirable)
Familiarity with QCD supplier management
A certification in a relevant field (if applicable)
Minimum of 5 years experience in on-board electronic system design
Minimum of 2 years of experience in QCD/team management
