Summary:
The Clinical Coordinator will ensure the continuity of care for the Medsurg/Acute Rehab unit patients. The Coordinator is responsible for the provision of care to the patients through management of a team who demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills clinical judgment skills and communication with all health care providers. The role will be responsible for providing clinical expertise in the provision of patient care and will collaborate with the health care team to implement Quality initiatives performance improvement projects and maintain regulatory compliance for the service line. The coordinator will assist in recruitment and retention for the night shift staff nurses pcts and unit secretaries.
Responsibilities:
Current NYS RN License
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
BLS ACLS
