Description
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptableAccounting Transformation Manager to join the Corporate Accounting Team in Plano Texas. This role is ideal for a versatile accounting professional who can contribute across multiple areas including accounting/finance transformation process improvement system implementations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting coupled with experience in process optimization.
Responsibilities:
Finance Transformation & Process Improvement:
- Evaluate document and optimize financial processes and workflows.
- Streamline and optimize financial processes leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with various teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Accounting Operations & Reporting Support:
- Assist in financial reporting and analysis.
- Partner with internal and external auditors and assist with compliance efforts as needed.
- Support monthend and yearend close processes working alongside the accounting and finance teams.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and financial trends.
CrossFunctional Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with leadership to align accounting transformation efforts with broader business objectives.
- Facilitate meetings presentations and reporting for senior accounting/finance management.
- Prioritize tasks and initiatives to support both strategic and operational accounting and finance goals.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field. Masters preferred. CPA required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 710 years of experience in finance accounting or a related field with 35 years of people management and leadership.
- Knowledger of GAAP SEC and Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- Public accounting experience and publicly listed company experience required
- Experience in documenting and analyzing business processes and workflows.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems (e.g. ERP systems D365 BI tools).
- Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and evolving environment.
