Major Duties :

• Act as Subject Matter Expert for Portfolio Administration Reconciliations practice.
• Perform detailed reviews of daily weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with internal controls.
• Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies ensuring appropriate actions are taken to resolve exceptions & follow escalation matrix diligently.
• Identify areas of improvement in reconciliation process and recommend solutions to enhance accuracy timeliness and control.
• Assist in identifying potential risks within the reconciliations process and develop corrective measures to mitigate the risk.
• Provide training support and guidance to Analyst and Senior Analyst to ensure adherence to best practice.
• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to ensure team is in compliance & assist with audit requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams(including Global Corporate Actions Income Front office Support data Management etc) and external parties(Custodians vendors) to resolve queries and discrepancies.
• Ensure all unresolved exceptions are timely escalated and followedup for closures.
• Ensure process updates are recorded in DPAD and reviewed periodically.
• Ability to think critically and solve complex reconciliations issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain findings discrepancies and corrective actions to Analyst Senior Analyst and management.

Knowledge :

• Analytical skills to resolve and research enquiries and issues
• Hands on experience in reconciliations accounting or financial operations.
• Proven understanding of upstream & downstream data flow for Reconciliation systems are preferred.
• Knowledge of financial products such as equities bonds derivatives etc
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products.
• High level of attention to detail with a focus on ensuring accuracy in financial records
• Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and foster excellent working relationships with internal and external partners
• Ability to adapt to change flexibility.
• Good communication skills.

Experience : At least 47 Years of experience in financial servicing/accounting field with client servicing or Middle Office background.
