About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to manage and grow existing SMB accounts while acquiring new business through proactive prospecting and cold calling.
Manage a portfolio of existing SMB accounts ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for upselling and crossselling additional services or products to increase account value.
Work proactively to expand accounts and drive longterm revenue growth.
Identify and target new SMB clients through outbound prospecting cold calling networking and other sales activities.
Build a strong pipeline of potential new accounts to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
Maintain a healthy and accurate sales pipeline tracking all activities and opportunities.
Use CRM tools to update deal statuses forecast revenue and report sales activities.
Provide daily updates to management on deal progress challenges and business growth potential.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve growth goals within assigned timelines.
The role is primarily deskbased 80 with occasional client meetings and cold calling 20.
Work closely with marketing product and customer success teams to ensure that solutions align with client needs.
Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and service delivery.
Education: Minimum of a Bachelors degree.
Experience: 45 years in sales account management or business development preferably in an SMBfocused environment.
Strong experience in managing and growing client accounts.
Proven ability to generate new business through cold calling networking and prospecting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to handle client objections.
Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Resultsdriven with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
