Responsibilities
The therapist will utilize their expertise to follow the established plan of care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to help patients reach their goals. As a Program Coordinator responsibilities include coordinating staffing and daily scheduling to meet productivity targets under the direction of a Regional Supervisor. Additional duties include attending Medicare meetings collaborating with facility staff maintaining a safe therapy gym and coordinating endofmonth billing with the home office.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Candidates must be graduates of an accredited therapy program and hold an active therapy license in the state of practice.
- Responsibilities must be performed in compliance with Key Rehabs Code of Ethical Conduct and all state and federal regulations.
- A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in geriatric care specifically in LongTerm Care (LTC) Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or Home Health (HH)
- Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with the geriatric population and their unique needs
- Solid understanding of current Medicare billing regulations
